Milšped ESG Report 2024: Sustainability and Responsibility on a Global Level

Confirming its ongoing commitment to sustainable development, environmental protection, and responsible governance, Milšped has published its 2024 ESG Report, available at LINK. This year’s report aside from Serbia also includes insights from our operations in Slovenia, Croatia, and Germany, marking a significant step in showcasing the implementation of ESG principles across all aspects of our business.
Milšped is increasingly adopting green logistics strategies. In 2024, special focus was placed on expanding rail and intermodal transport to shift from road to more sustainable modes wherever possible. This approach enhances efficiency while significantly reducing emissions of greenhouse gases.
Additionally, the company is actively working to reduce its carbon footprint through employee training, route optimization, and the exclusive use of vehicles that meet the EURO 6 standard. Our plan is for high-capacity vehicles to make up 1% of all road transport by 2030, contributing to more efficient deliveries and lower CO₂ emissions per shipment.
Our goal is not just to grow as a company, but to grow responsibly. We aim for every business decision to align with sustainable practices, ensuring long-term contributions to preserving the planet. As part of our long-term plan, we continue investing in renewable energy, with the goal of significantly increasing the number of solar panels at our warehouses by 2030 and exploring additional initiatives that improve ecological efficiency.
By defining sustainability as one of the core company values, Milšped strengthens its business culture and sends a clear message — responsible operations and care for society and the environment are not trends, but long-term commitments. In 2024, we established an ESG Committee dedicated to strategic sustainability topics including environmental protection, safety, diversity, equity, and inclusion.
Recognizing that people are the driving force behind success, Milšped places great emphasis on employee development. In 2024 alone, we conducted 1,324 hours of online training with over 1,000 participants, alongside 230 hours of in-person training — reflecting our comprehensive approach to skill and knowledge development. These investments in human capital affirm our growth and innovation strategy, placing employees at the heart of our business.
