Milšped’s Implementation of ICS2 – A New Step in EU Customs Procedures

As of September 1, the European Union has introduced a new step in the customs process – ICS2 (Import Control System 2). This additional document represents the third mandatory stage in export clearance and goods dispatch, aimed at enhancing security and controlling the entry of goods into the EU. Although ICS2 introduces extra procedures for all participants in the supply chain, Milšped Group was well-prepared for this change.
Milšped’s Customs Department has ensured a smooth process for clients, without delays and with minimal hold-ups, by:
• developing its own software solution for the automated execution of procedures,
• training employees to work with the new application,
• establishing a dedicated team specialized in ICS2, providing full operational and logistical support to clients.
Through this project, we have automated the process of notifying all stakeholders in the supply chain, ensuring that everyone receives the necessary information simultaneously, regardless of time or location.
As proof of our readiness and commitment, during a client event held at the MBASE Learning Center, we presented how we responded to the challenges of implementing ICS2, demonstrating that with us, they can rely on safety, efficiency, and timely delivery of goods, despite the new requirements.
